Mr. Usman Salya has a charitable trust called Salya Charitable Trust since 2005, which is registered under Bombay Charitable Act. This trust is actively working for the upliftment of the people of the area with various activities like donations to schools, donations to construct homes, re-imbursement of medical expenses, distribution of free medicine in medical camps, donation of sewing machines for ladies, donations for higher education etc.
There are approx 76 villages in the proximity of the village Simaliya and the population is around 2,00,000. Many people are in need of charity and due to lack of money are unable to get the proper medical treatment. The area did not have modern hospitals which could cater to them. They had go to cities like Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad or Mumbai for major medical problems which was a very heavy financial burden on them. Even if they got treated in charitable hospitals, the expense of travel, lodging and boarding and follow up visits became pretty exorbitant.
Salya Charitable Trust is actively involved in the treatment of the poor. Poor patients are referred to Pure Health Multi-Speciality Hospital by the Trust and their expense is borne by the Trust. In addition to that, whatever income is generated by the hospital is used for further charity work in the area of medical treatment. Medical camps are organised in different villages by the Hospital with the help of the Trust.
The Trust has actively donated to many schools for better quality education for the people of the area. It has sponsored for school building, school laboratories, school libraries, Uniforms, books etc.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS: The Trust sponsors various scholarships for deserving students for higher studies and professional courses.
HOUSE CONSTRUCTION DONATIONS: The Trust sponsors constructions of homes for the poor and the needy.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT: The Trust sponsors women from the underprivileged section of the society, like donating Sewing Machines, donations for starting business etc
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE: The Trust gives medical assistance to poor and needy patients, in the form of free medicines, bearing hospital charges including surgeries, medical tests etc.
Pure Health Hospital has organised more than 25 medical camps in different villages with the help of the Salya Charitable Trust. More than 2076 patients have been treated free of cost at these camps. Distribution of free medicine in medical camps is also undertaken by the Trust.

Charitable hospitals are dependent on availability of funds for doctors, para medical staff and infrastructure. They are usually overcrowded, understaffed and overworked. This would prevent them from giving full attention and quality treatment. There is an urgent need to cater to these problems. There is a need for a quality medical facility right there in that region, so people can get quality treatment without having to go great distances. Although we are trying to do our best, but are not able to reach out to all of them. You are requested to kindly consider helping us in the form of donation to get needy and poor people treated free of cost and help them to live healthy and long life.
All Indian donations would be tax deductible under section 80 G of Income Tax Act. For foreign donations (we have permission for Foreign Contribution Regulation Act from the Ministry of Home Affairs registered under Registration Number : 041990086 dated 18/Aug/2015
